Artist: Denise Wyllie

This print comes from an original silkscreen print created by Denise Wyllie during a one year artists residency at Barnet College, London. The artwork includes Franklin’s statement: “In my view, all that is necessary for faith is the belief that by doing our best we shall succeed in our aims: the improvement of mankind.”

In the Rosalind Franklin Collection Wyllie and O Hagan celebrate Franklin’s photo Photo 51, which proved to be a driving force behind one of the greatest discoveries in the history of science.
