Description
The space filling molecular model of DNA dominates
this picture, as it runs down the full
length of the print on its left hand side. This overlaps
the histology of the body. The repeated circular motif
indicates the multiple results of computerised testings.
To the right hand side, we see another representation
of DNA portrayed as “beads on a string”.
The artists gifted this print to Professor John Hartley.
He chose this particular print because of the clarity
of the image of DNA. The prints are highly regarded
by scientists, who are delighted to see images of
their work, re-interpreted and featured in this series.
