Description
Here we see a labyrinth, described earlier in DNA
Golden Light 2, in the top left hand corner of the
print. In this instance, it is represented in its
square form.
The labyrinth differs from a maze – in that
it is not a puzzle – has one clear path to the
centre, and back. It can take the form of a simple
spiral, or a more complex structure.
DNA too can be represented in a simple way –
as in “beads on a string”, here seen threading
its way down the right hand side of the print, in
fluorescent yellow, and the more complex space filling
molecular model opposite.
There is an interesting juxtaposition of images and
intention here, with the use of an ancient meditative
tool to signify the universal and individual journey
shown with the representations of DNA with its commonalities
and uniqueness.
