Artistic Description
A companion work to DNA Inheriting
the Family Jewels 1, we see close up two testis
cells adorned with emeralds, diamonds and semi precious
jewels. They sit on a cool blue background containing
X-ray film material and opalescent circular patterns.
During the artists' residency at UCL, Wyllie O Hagan
were privileged to meet with Dr Stephen Harland, Senior
Lecturer at the Department of Oncology, whose expertise
in is the treatment of testicular cancer.
