William Morris - Weaving Memories
The Weaving Memories Project - a creative, visual arts project for senior residents of the Higham Hill area, Walthamstow, London. The project, led by artists Denise Wyllie and Clare O Hagan,
was funded through the Higham Hill Community Association,
London Borough of Waltham Forest and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Referencing the work of William Morris, each person created their own unique tapestry. The work is displayed on permanent exhibition in The London Borough of Waltham Forest, to the East End of London. (more...) |

St Patricks Day is celebrated globally. Wyllie O Hagan’s mission is to counter the tired and outdated sterotypes exhibited on the day by inviting film-makers, and artists and non-professionals to make a short film reflecting the richness and generosity of the spirit of the Ireland and the Irish people.
