DNA animation shown in exhibition at Hollywood and Seoul, Korea
The animated film sequences shows a space filling molecular model of DNA becoming embellished with pearls and jewels. is narrated by Clare O Hagan an ovarian cancer survivor.
The artists’ experience leads them to explore current scientific research in the science of genetics, drug developments and to formulate an innovative and creative response to this. In the examining the process of the epigenetic embellishing of DNA, the artists aim to offer a more hopeful vision to people affected by genetically inherited disease.
The film was showcased alongside the most innovative new media works being created today.
Art and Science Association Japan and has been organizing Leonardo Exhibition, DIVA (Digital, Interactive and Visual Art) Exhibition at Tokyo and Kyoto. The exhibition has been recognized as one of the most authorized event in the area of computer graphics and multimedia in Japan.
